Medellin Colombia most likely offers the best climate off all the major cities of Colombia. The "paisas" as the locals are known, are friendly and proud of their city.

Since the year 2000, the city has virtually transformed. The roads and number of malls, high rises, restaurants and shops have taken off. Safety is far better than it used to be and the roads surrounding the city are now also safe to drive which opens up to a whole number of wonderful day trips that you can take.

Parque Lleras is most definitely, the liveliest part of town, especially Thursday through Saturday nights.
